It is very difficult to talk about us when we cover a niche such as art? Where do we begin and where do we end? Art has been around since the prehistoric ages in the form of cave paintings because it is in the genes of human beings to capture moments from everyday life and note it down somewhere for posterity. It is through art that we know the life and times of people down the ages – from archaeological excavations to grand architecture such as the Colosseum, from Michael Angelo’s paintings in chapels to brilliant sculptures in Paris museums.

This is why our task is so difficult but we are proud to say that we have covered every angle of art on our blog site http://article-network.com. Our team of bloggers are experts in various forms of art and hence contribute credible and interesting posts on our site.

Here is a snapshot of our site that will help explain our goals better.

Our site basically consists of blogs that lean heavily towards an academic line as well as those that are generic in content and can capture the attention of the common person.

In the first aspect we will take into account the various art forms. Our blogs will detail the basic differences between art forms – visual arts, performing arts, literary arts and multi disciplinary arts. We will make in-depth analysis of these individually so that a visitor wanting to know about a specific genre will have a lot to learn from our blogs.

On the generic category, we will bring news, information and latest updates from the world of arts. This will include trivia on new artists and musicians who are taking the art world by storm and their latest exhibitions and concerts. We will cover presentations of famous photographers around the world as well as guidelines from them on how to make it big in the profession.

The definition of art is best bought out by the United States Congress in the National Foundation on the Arts and Humanities Act. It says –

“The term ‘the arts’ includes, but is not limited to, music (instrumental and vocal), dance, drama, folk art, creative writing, architecture and allied fields, painting, sculpture, photography, graphic and craft arts, industrial design, costume and fashion design, motion pictures, television, radio, film, video, tape and sound recording, the arts related to the presentation, performance, execution, and exhibition of such major art forms, all those traditional arts practiced by the diverse peoples of this country and the study and application of the arts to the human environment.”

At http://article-network.com, it is our goal to cover all these mentioned here and more.
